Our campaign advocates for:
Growth and development rooted in who we are, what we need and what we can offer.
As a community, we want to maintain what makes the Village of Coxsackie great as we build for the future.
Our growth should enrich the lives of local residents as well as our welcomed visitors.
Clear, succinct rules of engagement that ensure that everyone that wants to participate formally in the future of our Village is able to do so with ease.
To encourage this, we support forums for collecting community input that have structure and are done with purpose.
A community engagement platform that connects people and/or organizations who need a helping hand with those who can offer one.
By articulating and presenting what we need and can offer to our community we will build a strong foundation for unity and growth.

As a Greene County native (I grew up in New Baltimore), this area is my home and it’s in Coxsackie that I’ve learned what true community looks like and what a pleasure it has been.
Since returning to the area after college I’ve felt embraced by the people and natural beauty of our area. The feeling of support and wonder that returning home has evoked has encouraged me to apply my passions for advocacy, research, communication and organizational leadership right here in our community.
As a worker advocate, I’m accustomed to what this commitment entails. Professionally, my title is Health & Safety Specialist for the NYS Public Employees Federation (PEF). What this means is that for the 50,000 plus state workers that PEF represents, I work closely with activists, PEF union members, the State of New York, legislators and others in the labor movement to ensure that PEF members maintain their right to a healthy and safe workplace. I have been doing this work for years and it has taught me to listen and how to triage crisis situations while maintaining crucial dialogues that aim to address longstanding, often systemic, concerns.
I am committed to the bold leadership that this path requires and an important part of it is follow through, even when the headlines fade. I am here to ask the hard questions and to work on behalf of our community.
What are the long term systems that we want to adjust, rebuild or create?
How will we stay connected to one another to ensure we maintain a pulse on our progress and adjust areas that are in need of support or reevaluation?
How will we celebrate our successes?
We should begin and maintain these conversations and I hope that this mayoral campaign will give us the space to do so
